The inlet connection is 1/1/4”. It is connected to a solenoid valve and an injector. The chemical is initially mixed with water in the injector and subsequently runs into the storage tank. Filling of the storage tank is controlled through level switches. The outlet from the tank is connected to a Grundfos boosting unit using frequency control. The pressure is monitored using a pressure transmitter. The stopping and starting  of the pump is based on pressure and flow. The pump is frequency controlled and used the latest technology from Grundfos (IE5). It is programmed to automatically increase the pressure up to 8
bar. Energy consumption is minimized by controlling the pressure through the built-in PI regulator.
