Open Plant Cleaning systems use a combination of foaming, rinsing and disinfection to effectively remove dirt and micro-organisms from surfaces. Standardised colour codes for different cleaning products make it easy for operators to identify and use the right products for specific tasks.

Foaming is a key part of this OPC process, ensuring that the detergents remain on the surfaces long enough to kill micro-organisms. Depending on the task, the foam can vary in density and dispersion, allowing cleaning to be tailored to specific needs.

For the most effective cleaning, it is important that operators leave the foam for a sufficient amount of time to allow the chemicals to do its job. We recommend leaving the foam on surfaces for at least 15 minutes to allow the detergents to thoroughly break down dirt and micro-organisms.

After foaming, surfaces should be thoroughly rinsed to remove residual detergent. By reducing the pressure in the system, operators can effectively remove the foam without damaging the surfaces.
